Monster Hunter Wilds: Anyone who plays the open beta gets exclusive bonuses and a time advantage for the release

Monster Hunter fans shouldn't miss the open beta.

Two days ago the open beta ofstarted. So far, however, you can only play if you have an active PS Plus subscription. However, tomorrow the servers will open to everyone on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.

At the start we would like to remind you once again that playing the open beta is twice as worthwhile. Not only do you get exclusive bonuses, you can also do a little preparatory work so that you can start hunting monsters right after the release on February 28, 2025.

So that you can get the items for the release, you just have to play the open beta on the platform on which you later want to play the main game. It is important that you not only jump to the main menu, but also create and save a character.

Capcom is also keeping the option open to offer the exclusive trailer again at a later date.

You can transfer your character

Character creation can easily take 1-2 hours, depending on how specific you are with your hero or heroine. That's why it's really practical that you can transfer the warrior you created in the open beta into the main game. Not only that, you can also transfer your newly created Palico in February.

Monster Hunter Wilds is the next major installment in Capcom's popular action-RPG series, which is released exclusively for current-gen and is once again peppered with some new monsters.
