Monster Hunter Wilds revealed the first major update and that brings one of the most popular monsters into play at all

However, we have not yet seen many old faces and fan favorites. At least one of them will hike into the game shortly after the release, as Capcom has now confirmed.

On theFrom Sony, Monster Hunter Wilds also had a short appearance with a trailer. It mainly shows more of what we have already seen - with one exception. At the very end, Capcom already reveals the first major update that appears shortly after the release of Wilds.

When does the first big free update for Monster Hunter Wilds appear?

There is still no specific date for the time at which MizuSso comes into play. So far, Capcom has only revealed that the free update awaited us in spring 2025. This is also supposed to come into play event quests.

In the summer of 2025 there is the next update that brings another monster and new event quests.

It is a little surprising that MizuSso returns at all. On the one hand, the monster was already in the last handheld branchWith the newcomer Uth Duna, the role of the dazzling water leviathan in Wilds is actually occupied.

But we certainly don't complain about additional monsters! It is only to be hoped that Lagiacrus will also return another Leviathan and fan favorite. At least one leak had indicated this a few months ago.
