The life simulationHas started in the early access and many fans can hardly wait to finally get started. Before the first game, it is best to take a look at the settings directly. A few important options are hiding here.
1. Graphics settings
Unlike the great competitorInzoi demands high hardware services from your PC. To check whether your computer can handle the unreal engine 5 graphics at all, you should look at a lookthrow.

Regardless of this, the game in early access also hasto fight with performance problemsEven if you have installed very good parts in your PC. Chic graphic is of course tempting, butProbably you drive better with low details.
- Autom. Selection:If you are unsure about the degree of detail, you can have the game decided yourself which settings best match your system.
- Switch off raytracing:Raytracing can create beautiful reflections and lighting moods, but also costs a lot of performance and the game looks good even without still
- Deactivate smart zois:If your PC has problems with the performance, the Smart Zoi feature switches off. The AI tool should ensure that Zois behave more realistically. But there is not much to be felt at the early access start and yet it costs a lot of performance.
- 30 FPS are not a shame:In the event of a weaker system, you can limit the image rate to 30 or 60 fps. Since Inzoi does not require quick reflexes or reactions, the Lifesim can also be played well with 30 fps. Especially when the frame rate remains stable.
- NVIDIA DLSS:With an NVIDIA graphics card you can set the settings for DLSS on "Performance" to achieve better performance.
2. Set length of one day
Under the “Simulation” point, you can determine how much real time should pass for a day in the game. The default value for this is 96 minutes and is therefore significantly higher than in the Sims 4, where a day only takes 24 minutes.
You have four options for the length of the day:
- 48 minutes
- 96 minutes (standard)
- 4 hours
- 24 hours
In theory, you can even play inzoi in real time, but it is questionable whether this is really fun. If the 48 minutes should be too long for you, you can increase the game speed up to 10x in live mode at the bottom left. Only up to 5x you can take control of your zois yourself.
Usually you have to hold down the right mouse button in live mode to move the camera. With Wasd, on the other hand, you only move the character you have just selected.
Unfortunately, this cannot be changed to the early access start. Moving the camera with WASD is currently not possible.
However, you can activate "Scrolling on the edge of the screen" in the control tab. You can use your mouse to go to the corners of your monitor and move your image section, regardless of the selected figure.

4. Activate manual driving
A cool feature from Inzoi is that you can drive your own cars through the city directly with Wasd control. However, this option is deactivated by default.
You will find the corresponding switch in the gameplay tab. Then you can click on a vehicle that belongs to you and get the opportunity to sit down in the driver's seat - and off you go!
5. Automatic saving
Also in the gameplay-tab you can set the period between automatic storage. The game always creates several memory, so you can also jump back in earlier times.
These time intervals are available:
- Every 5 minutes
- Every 10 minutes (our recommendation)
- Every 15 minutes (standard)
- Every 30 minutes
The ideal interval is ultimately a matter of taste, but a lot can happen in Inzoi in a short time. After jumping back so far after a poorly run, we didn't feel good in our eyes. 10 minutes seem to be a good compromise.
The game only saves automatically in live mode.If you work on a house for a long time, you should regularly switch to live mode and save manually. Especially if you otherwise lose a lot of progress through bugs or crashes, it gets really annoying.
6. Ui adjust in live mode
For this tip you don't have to go to the option menu, you can stay directly in live mode. You can move the UI elements to your screen with the mouse button pressed.
For example, if you want to see the overview of all the characters of your household on the left edge of the screen, this is not a problem.
If you have made a mistake and want to switch everything back to the standard view, simply express ESC and select the corresponding option directly in the break menu. So you don't have to worry about adjusting anything.
7. City administration
The new life simulation allows you all possible perimeter for your current neighborhood itself. You can find the menu in the city overview, which you open in live mode with the M key.
In the city administration you can determine how quickly or slowly Zois get used to, whether crimes take place frequently or rarely and much more. Some of them have a direct impact on your gameplay, other controllers only ensure a different look or atmosphere.
In particular, you should keep an eye on the controllers for relationships, as they basically regulate your level of difficulty. If you don't feel like waiting for a long time to your dream wedding, you can shorten here. All options here can be changed at any time, so experiment a little around!
