Why is the episode so popular?Several users on IMDB describe "Homer's Enemy" as their absolute favorite. The story about Frank Grimes is not only provided with a whole series of good jokes, it is also quite clever.
Grimes is, so to speak, a "realistic" figure that comes into the world of Simpsons. He is the only one who sees how incapable Homer actually is and what danger he represents for the power plant. Nevertheless, Homer leads a pleasant, peaceful life and has a family.
Frank is jealous and believed that he deserves all of this and not Homer, so he wants to take it away, which goes terribly wrong.
