What awaits us in season 2?The trailers for the second season have already given a glimpse of what to expect. So season 2 actually seems to start right or shortly after the end of the first season - i.e. after Jinx's attack on the Piltover Council. This could also lead to the conflict between Piltover and Zaun finally escalating.
In addition, several new characters have already been teased, most notably the werewolf-like creature Warwick. But a few other new faces could also be seen in the trailers. It cannot yet be said for sure whether these are completely new characters or LoL heroes.
Is Arcane getting a third season?
No, the makers behind the series have already ruled that out. The second season will also be the final season of the series.
But that doesn't mean that there won't be more stories from the League of Legends universe in the future. The story about Piltover and Zaun as well as the sisters Vi and Jinx should come to an end here.
