Account transfer: This is how you transfer your progress
You can transfer your previous progress via your Nintendo Account, if you have linked the old Pocket Camp to it. Fortunately, the process overall is not particularly complicated.
All necessary steps for the account transfer
- Buy Animal Crossing Pocket Camp Completeby June 2, 2025 at the latest
- Opens the new app
- When you start, the app asks you whether you want to take over a saved game
- Sign in with your linked Nintendo Account
Pay attention to the deadline:According to Nintendo, save data can only be transferred until June 2, 2025. Until then, you can still consider purchasing the new app.
After that, your data is lost forever. Please note that the price will increase from 10 to 20 euros from February 2025.
I never linked my account in the old app!In this case you will unfortunately come away empty-handed. The official transfer is only possible with a linked profile. This is no longer possible without the old app.
Can I get the new app for free after playing the old one?No. Everyone has to pay 9.99 euros. From February 2025, the price will increase to 19.99 euros for everyone.

Adopt friends list and camper cards
Pocket Camp Complete is an offline game. There is no real multiplayer anymore. This means you can no longer visit your friends' islands in co-op. But you can still take over your friends list and load other people's avatars into your game.
From now on, every profile has a camper card.These are essentially digital business cards that you can also customize.
All entries from your friends list will be added automaticallyand end up in your collection as camper cards. The only requirement for this is that the corresponding accounts have logged in at some point in version 6.0 or 6.0.1 of the old app. If that's not the case, it's not a problem. You can add new camper maps at any time.
If you would like to add someone, you can do this using the QR code on the back of every camper card. You can scan other players' QR codes and add their cards to your collection. In the new Sound Cave region you can visit and interact with the avatars you have collected.
