News-The Precinc: Police GTA has a release date

The title The Precinct, who is often compared to GTA, has a specific release date since today.

Falling Tree Games has been working on The Precinc for a long time, which is often compared to Grand Theft Auto, but this time you are on the side of the law and slips into the role of a cop. To date, the urban sandbox title with an open game world has only been played in the form of a demo - but the full version is now closer in large steps.

Today it was officially confirmed when you can make the streets of the scene of Averno City in full (un) safe. From May 13, 2025, The Precinct for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S should be available.

The title, originally announced in 2023, should have been available (as is so often) available earlier, but was postponed several times - initially from August 2024 to autumn 2024, then finally into the new year 2025. Now it should be ready on May 13th.

You then take on the role of beginner cops Nick Cordell Jr., who in Averno City in 1983 will deal with all sorts of street crimes. The demo already turned out to be a hit and was downloaded over 100,000 times on Steam. No wonder, the game pulls its inspiration from the such successful GTA series, but with the interesting twist that you change the pages. The developers also understand the game as a "love brif to the classic cop films".
