Shortly before Christmas, GSC Game World is delivering a huge patch for the shooter STALKER 2 with an insanely large number of bug fixes.
As we have known since yesterday, the shooter STALKER 2 - Heart of Chornobyl is already profitable and has already recouped its development costs within a very short time. However, not everything that glitters is gold, as the GSC Game World title had to struggle with some technical difficulties. After an initial hotfix, version 1.1 is now the first real, large and comprehensive patch - and it brings with it an incredibly large number of bug fixes.
The release of the update was announced by the development studio both via Steam and on social media. Accordingly, the patch will bring over 1,800 bug fixes and improvements on PC and Xbox - a truly "first big patch" for the shooter.
Although we apologize for the size of the update and the fact that it takes a long time to download, there are still a number of A-Life fixes on board. Specifically, interactions with NPCs should now be more natural and occur more frequently. The NPCs have also been better optimized for offline mode.
Some animation problems and AI behavior that were not previously apparent have also been addressed in the new update 1.1, as have countless buggy missions and side quests.
Anyone who is interested and wants to do the work can make all the changesCheck out the comprehensive patch log on Steam.
