News - Nintendo Switch 2: World Tour also in Berlin - here's how you can be there!

Anyone who wants to try out the Switch 2 before its release will be able to do so as part of a World Tour. However, to have the chance to be there, you must register.

Today Nintendo finally nailed it and officially announced the Switch 2. At least a first trailer, a little over two minutes long, was shown, but tangible details were only confirmed in a Nintendo Direct on April 2, 2025. Until then, the release date and price can be speculated as eagerly as the key technical data.

Given the detailed presentation at the beginning of April, the release will probably take a little longer to arrive, probably until at least June 2024. Reason: After the Direct, Nintendo will first go on a world tour with its Switch 2 and show interested players the new console at various handsets. Show on opportunities in advance. This tour is currently running until June and should be preparing for the release.

Many stops on the hands-on tour are already known. In Germany, Nintendo is stopping in Berlin at the end of April. Tickets for participation will be allocated via a raffle, for which you must register. So if you want the chance to get hands-on in Berlin between April 25th and 27th, you have toon the official Nintendo website and enter your details.

Registration will be available starting January 17th at 3:00 p.m.; The registration period ends on January 26th at 11:59 p.m. A free Nintendo account is required to register, which you can also use to apply for other European hands-on events (but not outside Europe). Participation is free, but you must be at least 18 years old. Allocation takes place via a raffle.
