The new sci-fi title from Naughty Dog relies on a very prominent cast, most of whom may already be known.
Naughty Dog, the makers of Uncharted and The Last of Us, have officially presented their new sci-fi title Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet at the Game Awards 2024. Many details surrounding the intergalactic adventure are not yet known, apart from the fact that the game is set in the distant future and is the studio's first new IP since The Last of Us, released in 2013.
Now the developer is known for its story-driven titles and therefore relies on strong characters. The protagonist will be Jordan, played by Tati Gabrielle. The actress is known, among other things, as Jo Braddock from the 2022 film adaptation of Uncharted.
Apart from this leading actress, no other members of the cast have been officially confirmed, but the first trailer shows a group photo at around 1:25 running time - and this has now been examined in detail by Naughty Dog fans. Result: A large part of the cast could already be known because of the similarities between the characters shown and various actors.
It appears that Tony Dalton (Better Call Saul) will be in Intergalactic.

The topic became more widespread on Reddit, where additional faces could presumably be assigned. Starring alongside Jordan is a character who could have been played by Tony Dalton; who is best known for his role as Lalo Salamanca in "Better Call Saul." To the left of the protagonist there is a character who is clearly played by Kumail Nanjiani and to the right there is another character who is probably played by Stephen A. Chang ("Bosch: Legacy").
In the group photo in question, only one female character remains, who could not yet be assigned with any greater certainty. Speculation names Kelly Reilly ("Yellowstone") as a possible actress, other names circulating in this context include Jessica Chastain and Ashley Scott ("The Last of Us").
Official confirmations about the characters and the exact story from Naughty Dog are still pending.
