Grand Theft Auto VI is the most important coming game in the industry and presumably one of the greatest entertainment releases of all time. Officially, Rockstar Games has announced the game with the first trailer release for 2025, which has been available for many months, but since then there have been countless rumors that this plan will probably not be possible. Now Rockstar Games has once again commented on the release planning together with Publisher Take-Two Interactive.
So the publisher has now presented a new annual report and of course also a look at the future. Pleasing: Grand Theft Auto VI is still scheduled for publication in autumn 2025 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S - despite all rumors despite a shift.
In the course of the annual report, Take-Two Interactive says: "We plan to publish several blockbuster titles, including Grand Theft Auto VI by Rockstar Games in autumn 2025."
Until then, there are still a few months and it will be eager to observe whether it really stays with it in the end. After all, Rockstar Games in particular has a long history of shouting his games to give him the final touch. The last very big release of the studio, Red Dead Redemption 2, was postponed three times before it was available. The predecessor GTA 6 was also moved to a significant extent and did not appear as planned in spring 2013, but only in September 2013.
