News - Grand Theft Auto 5: The Enhanced update for PC is there

GTA 5 has been on PCs and consoles for over 14 years now and now the highly expected Enhanced update has finally been released, with which the game is visually dismantled.

PC players can be happy because GTA 5 Enhanced is finally here. As promised, Rockstar has published the renovation of the game on time, which is now available as a free upgrade for GTA 5 owners. In addition to visual improvements, there are also revisions of content and user interface, which of course also affect GTA online.

A little bit you have to do for it, because your scores have to be migrated and a step back to the old version is no longer possible. "Players who are already playing on PC can transfer their score in GTAV's story mode as well as their progress and their characters in GTA Online once from the Legacy version of GTAV to GTAV Enhanced," says Steam.

The list of revisions included visual improvements along with improved performance, whereby AMD FSR 3 and Nvidia DLSS 3 also come into play as an upscaler. In addition, ray tracing effects in shadows and reflection as well as revisions of the lighting are moving in. When using SSDS as a storage medium, shorter loading times are also announced by appropriate optimization. Furthermore, some console features are taken over, such as the support of adaptive trigger of the Dual Sense Controller. The same applies to sound improvements thanks to Dolby Atmos with generally optimized sound edition.

New content, such as vehicle upgrades and modifications, is also a career builder, a new menu design and access to all current and previous updates. From this, Rockstar also brought some new vehicles into play, as did bonuses at the GTA+subscription. This now gives the stone -old permanent burner, who has now experienced three consoles as one of the few games, even on the PC, a breath of fresh air, where it has never disappeared from the list of the tophits.

GTA V Enhanced is apparently already well received. According to Steamdb, 187,000 players are currently bustling in the new version, while the meter of the old Legacy version is over 148,000 in this minute. With only 57 percent positive voices, the feedback on the Enhanced version is still a bit mixed.
