At the Future Games Show, the Control spin-off FBC: Firebreak from Remedy Entertainment had another appearance. Not only has fresh gameplay showed, the release period was also specified.
Another edition of the Future Games Show took place last night and the Control spin-off FBC: Firebreak from Remedy also appeared there. In the course of this, the development team now confirmed that the release of the co-op shooter should take place in the summer of 2025. The period was therefore specified in this respect, because so far the year 2025 has been targeted for publication.
The co-op spin-off for the success title Control has been in progress at least mid-2021 and is published simultaneously for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store). Subscribers of the Xbox Game Pass Ultiate or PC Game Pass will then receive the game without additional costs, as well as subscribers from PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium.
A new gameplay trailer called "Paper Chase", which shows a team of three who fights through the executive sector of the Oldest House, was also published. The players use improvised weapons and equipment.
The full version will rely on a mission -based structure. Teams consisting of several players have to cope with dangerous jobs in the game universe. Before each mission, you choose your Crisis Kit, which can consist of different equipment with different advantages. Among other things, there will be a fixed kit designed for melee, an electricity-based Jump Kit and a splash kit built around water.
