Your first step: An agent is sent to the world - perhaps an outlawed magician, a renegade priest or a fanatic cultist. This agent is your tool to drive the first cracks into reality. A remote city could be a perfect starting point. There she begins to sow the darkness: you whisper in the ears of the nobles, let rumors walk around, spread secret teachings in dark streets. Your influence grows with every step.
Over time, your shadow spreads further.
Your followers infiltrate neighboring cities, nobles begin to represent your twisted philosophy, and entire areas sink into madness. But with every further corruption, the resistance is growing - people are alleged, a chosen one rises and holy orders try to extinguish your agents with their heroes.
A lively world full of intrigue
The procedurally generated game world of Shadows of Forbidden Gods feels alive and dynamic: Nations carry wars, cities thrive or expire, and powerful personalities pursue their own goals - each with individual traits and motivations.
