How long does the event last?The time-limited event begins on5. Novemberand ends on18. November 2024. So you have a good two weeks to secure the new cards.
What do i have to do?You have to compete in solo duels against special event decks to get the time-limited onesPromo Packs A Series Vol. 1
to obtain. These contain the new cards and, with a low probability, the new Lapras ex. There is currently no other way to get the coveted cards.
By completing different tasks, you will receive additional rewards such as stardust, hourglasses, shop tickets and experience points.
Highlight: Lapras ex
The highlight isLapras ex, that with hisBubble jet
deals a full 80 points of damage and heals itself for 20 HP. The latter is particularly strong because it can take a lot of damage thanks to its 140 HP and thus has the time to benefit from the healing. And since it's a basic Pokémon, you can play it right away without having to wait for an annoying evolution.
Of course it also has weaknesses. The powerful water Pokémon has to be careful of electric-types. You should also think carefully about when you put it on the battlefield. Because with three energies as withdrawal costs, replacing it is an expensive pleasure.
Lapras ex will become your strongest opponent during the event.

The event decks are primarily equipped with water-type Pokémon. So you not only meet Lapras ex, but also the standard Lapras, Golking, Starmie, Quaputzi, Entoron and Swaroness. But powerful normal types like Schlurp and Dodri are also there. By the way, the latter can fly even if it has no wings.
