Frohlocket, the times are over when you need a mathematically precise building society plan to properly level in The Elder Scrolls 4.Fixes the biggest point of criticism that even hard-boiled oblivion fans have been wearing in their hearts for 20 years.
As a reminder: In the old Old Oblivion you could do a little bad luckbad
level. There were up to 15 attribute points for each ascent to increase values such as strength, agility and happiness. How many of these points you get, but depended on the skills that you improve and ... just know that it was super annoying to grind any popula skills to get the maximum attribute increases.
That is a thing of the past in the Oblivion Remaster! We explain how the new leveling system works and what you have to consider in the level up.
Quick navigation:
How does the new leveling system work in the Oblivion Remaster?
So: In Oblivion Remastered you also choose your class at the beginning of the game and pick primary skills. These are skills in which your character is particularly talented, such as healing magic or acrobatics. There is a thick buff of +20 for these primary skills, but even more important: With these primary skills, you rose faster. Let's go through the new leveling process.
- The remaster is also rewardedLearning by Doing: You roam through the landscape, knock goblins and thus improve the skills that you actually use.
- Now it will be exciting:Unlike in the past, all skill improvements fill- whether primary or secondary -Level-up beams. If it is full, you can increase your character by a character level.
- Primary skills fill the level bars much faster. If you want to climb fixed, you should still prioritize the primary skills.
- To complete the level-up, you have toPlace in a bed and sleep. How long you sleep doesn't matter. An hour is enough. Powernap.
As soon as you get to bed, a menu opens and thus the biggest change compared to the old skill system:You get nowalways12 attributethat you can freely distribute. Which skills you have upgraded before is a wump, but you can no longer reach the maximum value of 15.
Also important: you canOnly 5 points per attributedistribute. Simply pumping all 12 in strength, so it doesn't work.
Our tip: relies on happiness
All attribute increases cost one of the 12 points - with the exception of luck. A point in luck costs three levels. Therefore, you should definitely select happiness when creating the character as one of your two primary attributes in order to dust the bonus of +5 directly. This saves you 15 levels. At least says our hip mathematics.
Let hear: How do you like the new level system? We find it much better than the old one because it no longer limits us as much as to us which skills we want to use and how often.
