The Electric State tells the story of a retro futuristic version of the 1990s. For a long time, people and the robots lived together peacefully until the latter ventured the uprising and were banished into exile.
One day the parentless teenager Michelle (Millie Bobby Brown) is visited by Robot Cosmo (Devyn Dalton), who is apparently controlled by her younger brother Christopher (Woody Norman), which is believed to be dead.
