Enter the lobby: The fastest way to the multiplayer
Sometimes you don't see the forest for the trees and rarely did this saying fit as optimally as with the lobby search in Monster Hunter Wilds. You are already in the forest metaphorically right from the start. After all, you have to select a lobby directly in the main menu of the game that you contribute - whether you want to play alone or in the multiplayer.
If you have clicked blindly so far until you have arrived in the monster -contaminated open world, you should pause here. After all, the lobby decides which players you can use to hunt.As a bloody beginner, you shouldn't go into endgame lobbies-the hard-boiled hunters probably don't want to waste their time with your baby monsters.
Thanks to different filters, you will quickly find the optimal lobbies for you. But you can also search for a certain one with the lobby ID or create a private for you alone. But all of this is not only possible in the main menu: If you are already in the game, you can also edit your lobby options at Alma at the Quest switch.
Invite friend: The direct way to the multiplayer
If your Jäger-Buddy is already in a lobby, you could of course search for him via lobby ID. But it is even simpler if he just invites you!
To do this, he has to go into the menu. Under the riderCommunication
If he then finds the button "Invite friend." If you are friends on your platform, you will find yourself together.
Start the quest: go hunting together
Only because you are in a lobby with other hunters does not mean that you can automatically do quests together. To do this, you first have to go to dear Alma, which acts as a quest switch.
If you pursue a mission here, (depending on your settings), other lobby members can join.
The slightly different multiplayer: emergency lamp signs and connecting members quests
At Alma, however, there are not only the classic quests, but also two riders for connecting members and emergency sign missions.
What are emergency signs? If you are alone on the hunt and you find out that the monster picks you up in the air, you can shoot an emergency lamps into the sky. You can find the option at the bottom of the cake menu, so you have to hold L1 with the controller and then go down with the right stick.
The red-glowing floor is displayed to other players, at Alma you can then pursue your witness missions in the tab in the tab.
Depending on your settings, NPC hunters can also help with a submitted emergency sign. Perhaps they are not always so effective in the attack, but at least as a distraction.
What are connection members? You can join a hunting group in Monster Hunter to take the full multiplayer experience with you. To do this, you have to talk to Felicitas in the base camp of the wind level.
A group of own can be opened there, but you can of course also search for an existing one with a free space. You can also pursue connecting members with your colleagues.
Now nothing should stand in the way to give Rathalos and Co. together fully on the hat! Except, you haven't found the optimal weapon for your playing style yet. Then the above quiz will definitely help you! If you want to screw a little more on the technology, you will find out the best settings in the tuning guide.
