At the mill we sneak into the little barn in the north to find the family. Caution: Bandits patrol here! On the barn floor we find the tied family that we free from her bonds after a brief conversation with Hermann. Then we decide whether the family flees or stays directly to Maleschau to relatives until the bandits are driven out.

If we opt for the former, the family whizzes straight away - so we wait that there are no patrolling bandits nearby. We have more calm when we ask the family for patience and attack the bandits in our own way without the fleeing of the family attracting attention. Caution: If there is an open fight, bandits will climb up to the barn and attack the family. We must not let the quest be successfully completed.
If the bandits are dead or driven out, we get the reward of 150 groschen at the Müller Hermann in the barn or at the stud of the village of Malschau.
