Are you planning to buy a new tablet? Then Aldi's current offer could be interesting. The discounter sells an Android tablet from Acer with an eleven-inch display in its online shop.
The Acer Iconia P11 costs 239 euros at Aldi, and another 5.95 euros are added for shipping.
8.0 gigabytes of RAM, 256 gigabytes of device memory and a display with 2K resolution promise a round overall package at a fair price. Is that too? I do the price check.

- The acer tablet is a mid-range tablet. This is reflected in the technical equipment.
- The device offers one compared to cheaper tabletshigh-resolution QLED displayand witheight gigabytes sufficiently memoryfor multitasking.
- Compared to Premium models, however, you shouldn't expect too much from the mid-range processor Mediatek MT8781, it isnow three years old. In addition, the tablet at Bluetooth and WiFi does not bring the freest us standards.
- The tablet is flawlessly set up as a multimedia device. With its 2K display,Four speakers and a headphone outputit can be used without any problems for streaming or playing.

Performance
The tablet is not suitable for demanding activities such as 4K video cuts or performance-hungry games. Here the somewhat more elderly mid-range chipset quickly reaches its limits.
However, performance is sufficient for simple tasks such as surfing, office, home school or streaming. No more expensive premium model is required for this.
Price-performance ratio and alternative
Aldi offers the Acer tablet in the online shop for 239 euros. This gives the discounter on the offer of most competitors, but does not achieve the best price.
The dealer Coolblue currently sells the device for 199 euros - here you save 40 euros compared to Aldi. If you are interested in the tablet, I would advise you to buy from this dealer.
The acer tablet is solidly on the price-performance side. Above all, the high-resolution display with QLED panel promises good colors and contrasts. With 400 nits maximum brightness, however, it is less suitable for external use.
Overall, the Iconia P11 is particularly interesting as a multimedia device, not least due to its four built-in speakers. It is suitable for occasional users, but also for families with children.
Finding something much better in this price range is not easy.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ is an alternative. It currently costs around160 euros at Amazon, offers a full HD screen with 11 inches, a somewhat faster processor, eight gigabytes of work and 128 gigabyte device memory.
It is very similar to the Acer tablet and is also suitable as an everyday device for simple tasks.
Recommendation
If you are looking for a solid tablet for everyday life and do not do any power -hungry activities, the Acer Iconia P11 gets a suitable device.
Aldi's offer is fair price, but I would recommend that you access Coolblue. Then you save 40 euros when buying.
