In May 2025, 22 games left the PlayStation Plus library.
This also affects some PS3 games, more precisely Resistance: Fall of Man and Resistance 2, which only came to PS Plus in November 2024.
Short guest performance
If the games are no longer available on May 20, 2025, Resistance and Resistance 2 were only available for around six months.
The PS3 classics are only available with PS Plus Premium, can only be streamed and, in contrast to PS1 and PS2 games at Premium, you do not have the option of buying a digital copy. Thus, the titles can no longer be played on PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 4.
With the exception of the two Horizon games-the fact that first party games are taken from the PS Plus library is rather rare. In contrast to the Horizon games, you can no longer buy resistance and resistance 2 normally. Meanwhile, Resistance 3 and Resistance Retribution remain available for the moment.
